Safari not working on wifi, but fine on 3G?

Neither my ipad, nor my iphone will load webpages when connected to wifi. However, apps such as youtube and Facebook work fine unless I am loading a web page through them. Also, safari works when on 3G. What is wrong? I assume it is my router because of this but I have reset it and it still won't work.

Thanks,

Sam.

Does this happen on all wifi networks or just one?

There are a few steps you can take to isolate the issue. First, I would check with your ISP or whoever provided you your router and see if there is a firmware update available for it. Many times your ISP may have a lot of older routers laying arouno that they give to customers. Secondly, you might want to try clearing your safari history and caches in Setting> safari and see if that helps. Finally, try resetting network settings in Setting> general > reset > reset network settings. This will remove any saved network passwords so make sure that you know them before resetting.
