Can you point me to where I can find Samsung, HTC, Seiko, Rado, Ebel and Apple's warnings about nickel in their products.

After having problems with nickel in iPhones, iPads and MacBooks I have switched to Samsung phone and tablet and my rashes disappeared.

Whether and/or to what extent you may experience a reaction will depend on your level of sensitivity.

Apple Watch, the space gray Apple Watch Sport, the stainless steel portions of some Apple Watch bands, and the magnets in the watch and bands contain some nickel.

For peace of mind, contact Apple Support to enquire specifically about that model.

You might mention that the support article was last modified on 27 May, so it is unclear whether the content has taken into account the newly introduced models.

Apple Watch can be returned for a refund within 14 days of purchase / receipt (specific terms can vary by country, according to the applicable Sales & Returns Policy).

me again. I bought the aluminum rose gold, wore it to bed, woke up middle of the night with burning on my wrist. Going to get the ssteel

By doing this, you would be switching from a model that is not presently stated to include nickel to one that is (you said that you are susceptible to nickel-related reactions).

As I explained above, the Rose Gold Aluminium Apple Watch Sport is not included among the watch cases that are listed as containing nickel (I also suggested that you check this with Apple). However, Apple does state that nickel is present in the Apple Watch (stainless steel). The full statement again is:

If you experience redness, swelling, itchiness, or any other irritation or discomfort on your skin around or beneath your Apple Watch, Apple advises that you remove it and consult your physician before resuming wear.

You and/or your physician may also wish to consider other potential causes of skin irritation besides the presence of nickel. For example, Apple advises keeping your watch clean and dry (including after workouts), as irritants can make skin reactions more likely if found between Apple Watch and your skin. Irritants may include sweat, salt water, soapy water, perfume, insect repellent, sunscreen and lotions.

You will develop nickel allergy after prolonged contact with nickel.

As you already have nickel allergy, you should stay away from Apple products, as they all contain nickel.

Most companies had removed nickel from any products that have contact with skin, due to allergy concerns. Apple is the only exception as far as I know.

You keep posting this, can you provide some reliable medical studies that show that everyone who has been exposed to nickel will develop an allergy.

Most people who have have nickel allergies have a lower threshold that they can tolerate and Apple uses the least amount of nickel possible. If anyone has an extreme allergy they should avoid almost all current small electronics and watches.

Samsung, HTC, Seiko, Rado, Ebel, etc. all have the same warning as Apple that their aluminum and some stainless steel have trace amounts of nickel.

Please stop posting misinformation.

Thank you for info re cleaning; will follow this as time goes on. The rose aluminum sport band caused reaction on my wrist within hours. Swapped that for the stainless steel case with modern buckle. Now on fourth day of wearing during the day, off at night, and no marks on my wrist. Still visible are the circle and spot from the aluminum band. Go figure. Thank you for your attention and interest in replying. I appreciate it.
