Microsoft Office Live Meeting

I am current having a problem trying to activate the Microsoft Office Live Meeting and used the following link - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/884961. I am not able to get passed this point.

To enable the Java Plug-in on Macintosh, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Java Preferences window.
  2. Click to select Run applets: in their own process.


Terminal does not see Java for some reason and I am up to date with all downloads (Safari, Mac and Java)

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

As Office is not an Apple product, I strongly recommend asking in the Microsoft Office:Mac forums here:


Office for Mac


Everyone there is a Mac user AND an Office user, something you cannot say about Apple's forums. You will get the fastest help there and I think you will find the contributors more than helpful.
