I have two iPads and would like to show a movie playing from one iPad on the second iPad. The purpose of this is to use as dual screens for my kids while in the car. i know you're probably thinking "just have them use one!" lol. But id like to know ifits possible.

If it is a purchased movie, then you can play it on multiple devices at once, but they must be using the same Apple ID.
As long as both iPads are using the same Apple ID, or are part of the same Family Sharing group, and the Movie is not a rental from iTunes, all you need to do is just download the movie to both iPads and start playback on each.

I use this to have the iPad Display another window than that is on my mac, when I want to have two windows open for the same task.
