I received a web message from 1-855-789-6633 about a Trojan Horse virus what should I do? I didn't call it and don't think I should.

It is a scam. Do not call any number presented.
Force quit Safari, then restart Safari while holding the shift key.
I figured I shouldn't call them and did as you recommended in your response. Is there anything else I should do?
If the popup message has gone, and no further popups have appeared, there are no further steps required.

That was the correct response. Read Phony "tech support" / "ransomware" popups and web pages.
