iTunes won't accept new account

I created a new iTunes account on my PC and then logged out of my old one/ signed into the new on on my iPhone 4. Everything in my settings says that I'm logged into my new account, but every time I try to download something from the iTunes store, it show the account info and requests the password for the old account. How do I get it to request my new account password? Thank you. 🙂

From your question, I am not sure if you edited your old Apple ID by updating the old email address to a new one as described in Change your Apple ID - Apple Support, of if you created a new Apple ID completely as described in Create and start using an Apple ID - Apple Support.


If you are trying to download something new from the iTunes or App Stores and are being prompted for your old Apple ID, first double check to make sure that you have signed out of the old account and signed into the new one on your iPhone.
