Sep 12, 2015 9:51 AM in response to Nenakwalaby Winston Churchill,★HelpfulIntermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

Sep 12, 2015 8:16 PM in response to Nenakwalaby Nenakwala,So I don't think its my connection or speed - itunes tv shows and movies that I purchased - slow download and freezing - I switch over to Netflix and You tube and other platforms and no problems. Itunes just seems to glitch sometimes - Not going to buy any more on there if its not going to work properly.

Sep 12, 2015 8:40 PM in response to Nenakwalaby vazandrew,Youtube content is highly compressed, Netflix and others adapt to the connection. iTunes is at a fixed rate, higher quality, and needs to load. You would need to troubleshoot.
