Sep 27, 2015 4:10 PM in response to spenttolongonthisby spenttolongonthis,I fixed this problem by disabling Norton Firewalls and reloading iTunes, which then added the Outlook add-ins and hey presto my iPhone now syncs contacts and calendar outlook.

Nov 2, 2015 9:09 AM in response to spenttolongonthisby LordTimmy,I've tried uninstalling iTunes, turning off my anti-virus (Defender, after Kaspersky caused all sorts of trouble with Windows10 & iTunes) and reinstalling, but to no avail. I then uninstalled/ reinstalled all Apple products, again without result.
A workaround to get my iPhone to synch calendars with Outlook is to fire up iTunes as Administrator (right click iTunes icon, Run as Administrator). Even though the iTunes add-in is not in Outlook, iTunes recognises Outlook (click on Info on the iPhone menu when connected via firewire cable) and synchs calendars fine.
It's a workaround not a fix though. Let's hope Apple sort this out, as this issue has been appearing for many years in one form or another.
Windows 10, Outlook 2007 SP3, iTunes 12.3.1.23, iPhone 5 with IOS 9.1
