Q: How can I send music to Australia from the UK via iTunes
II've attempted to gift music from a UK iTunes account to be redeemed in Australia but copyright infringements seem to be an issue. Any way of getting around this?

Short of recording it from your own files onto a flash drive and sending that by mail, no. You can only download from a national iTunes store if you have a billing address in that country and pay for it with a credit card supported by a bank in that country. Neither can you buy gift cards or vouchers in one country for use in another (I seem to recall there may be an exception for the EU, which in many ways is treated as one, but I'm not altogether sure about that). You are correct to think that copyright is the main reason for this, though agency agreements can also play a part.
