CD got stucked in my Macbook Pro .. will it be rectified within the one year standard warranty

I have my Macbook purchased in 2014 still covered under warranty - standard one year .. CD got stuckedin my macbook pro... When contacted apple authorized service center , I was said it is charged for solving this issue . I havent done any misuse from my end.. CD getting studied in my Mac is not my misuse rather its part malfunction .. Why cant t be it covered in warranty
