Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
It looks like you're wondering what offline playlists are and how to use them in Apple Music.
Offline playlists let you listen to songs, albums, or playlists from Apple Music when you're not connected to the Internet.
You can find the instructions below in Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library.
Save songs, albums, and playlists to listen offline
You can save songs, albums, or playlists to listen to when you're not connected to the Internet.* You must save songs, albums, or playlists on each device that you want to use for offline listening.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
- In the Music app, find the item that you want to save.
- Tap the More Options icon
to the right of the song, album, or playlist name. - Tap Make Available Offline.
Songs and albums appear under My Music > Library. Playlists appear under My Music > Playlists.
On your Mac or PC:
- In iTunes, find the item that you want to save in the My Music or Playlists tab. You can't save items to listen to offline from the iTunes Store.
- Click the cloud icon to the right of the song's name, on the album cover, or to the right of the playlist's name.
Songs and albums appear under the My Music tab. Playlists appear in the Playlists tab, under Apple Music Playlists in the sidebar.
You can view just songs, albums, playlists that you saved for offline listening:
- iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: In the My Music tab, tap Library. Then tap any of the different views (Artists, Albums, etc.), and enable Music Available Offline.
- Mac: In iTunes, from the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose View > Only Music Available Offline.
- Windows: Press Control + B on your keyboard to open the iTunes menu bar. Choose View > Only Music Available Offline.
*You can save music offline on up to 10 devices. These songs are accessible only during your Apple Music membership.
Happy Computing.

Nov 18, 2015 11:28 AM in response to jeremy_vby tombaja,You say "...when are you not connected to Internet." But what about a log out from Apple Music, should the downloaded songs or playlists still be available on your phone? I ask because in my case, alle offline music disappears from "My Music" after a log out from Apple Music. I hope you find time to answer, because it's difficult to find an answer to my problem.
Cheers.
