Q: Now that my photos have been migrated from my iPhotos Library to the new Photos Library which came with the upgrade to Yosemite can I delete the iPhotos App from my iMac.

Now that my photos have been migrated from my iPhotos Library to the new Photos Library which came with the upgrade to Yosemite can I delete the iPhotos App from my iMac.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

    You can but it is a bad idea since it is difficult to impossible to get  it back if you need or want = and it is small so keeping it does not use much space  - same gove for the iPhoto library - you can delete it but it saves very little space and if you want or need it it can be a problem
