What you can do with a PC
When you have installed VideoCam Suite from the supplied CD-ROM and connected your PC to the
unit, you can perform the operations described below.
A Play back images recorded by this unit on a PC.
B Copy images recorded by this unit onto the PC hard disk.
Select the desired images and create original DVD-Video discs.
C Edit (split, merge, or delete) images copied to a PC.
Create playlists.
≥ VideoCam Suite can handle images recorded with this unit or by using VideoCam Suite. Images
created with other video cameras, DVD recorders, software and commercial DVD-Videos are not
supported.
≥ We cannot guarantee proper operation of this unit if you use software other than that supplied.
≥ Do not copy images recorded on this unit using any software other than the supplied software.
However, it appears you can record to an SD card - you can simply insert that card into your Mac or a USB card reader. You would then probably need something like MPEG Streamclip to change the format to something iMovie can work with or, if that app cannot handle the format, you can try Handbrake.
