i am trying to update the software of my iPhone6 .. But suddenly its coming update requested but still unable to update .. Kindly help

With iTunes, you plug your phone into your computer after downloading the latest version of iTunes. Let your PC access your phone and an update will pop-up for you to download the update on your computer.
Try holding down the home and power buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. This can take as long as 30 seconds. Let the device reboot, then try updating again.
If you still have problems, try Settings>>Reset>>Reset all Settings.
If you still have problems after the first two steps above, try updating via iTunes.
This wasn't helpful.. I did the first two steps.. Nothing worked.. How it is supposed to be done via iTunes
Thank you for asking this question. This was my issue updating to iOS 9.01 on my iPad. The answers here are great and I am hoping that I will finally be able to get this done without driving 3 hours to the nearest Apple Store. 😁 Makes my day that I'll be able to do this by myself!
