How to disable the stopwatch on the Chronograph face?

HI there

I use the chronograph as my chosen watch face. Rather frustratingly when I check the time I often find that I have accidentally turned on the stop watch and so have to fiddle about with the functions in order to get back to the watch face. I have not found a simple way to turn this off (I have no need to time myself) so was wondering if there was an alternative way to remove that option from the chronograph watch face?

Apple Watch Sport 42mm, watchOS 1.0

Hi Sam

If you enable Wrist Detection (Apple Watch app > General > Wrist Detection), you can use Activate on Wrist Raise, which doesn't require tapping the display at all to check the time.

Hi Jonathan

I actually have that enabled. In some ways that is part of the problem as when I walk I must raise my wrist activating the watch and then accidentally activate the stopwatch with my shirt sleeve.

I am looking for a way to remove the stopwatch from the chronograph watch face.

Hi Sam

You cannot remove the stopwatch from that watch face. Perhaps try using a different watch face.
