I;m at a window called USERS. I see my full name - admin. I select the button called "edit user". After awhile it seems I can edit the full nmae but when I select the "save" button it keeps looking for the i-net

Internet is not required to change the admin name so I am at a loss, if it was an Apple ID you were changing I could understand but not the machine admin name. Sorry.

I came back to the machine after letting it sit for about an hour still trying to access the i-net. When I came back the user name had changed to what I had wanted. No idea why...
