What do you mean by extension?
Please provide as much detail as possible about what you are seeing.
I GO TO SYSTEM PREFERENCES..... EXTENSIONS;..... IT SAYS USE APPLE AND THIRD PARTY EXTENSIONS TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR MAC...... IT SHOWS AN EXTENSION IN I-TUNES. I CANT DELETE IT AND I DONT REMEMBER EVER HAVING A THIRD PARTY EXTENSION IN IT??
I ALSO HAVE ONE IN MAIL,MESSAGES, AND AIR DROP, THAT I DONT REMEMBER PUTTING THERE?? IT SAYS USE THESE EXTENSIONS TO SHARE CONTENT WITH OTHERS
I FOUND THIS WHEN I TRIED TO DELETE IT:
com.apple.preferences.extensions.remoteservice
QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY
No need to write in all caps. We do not know what you are looking at, so we need to ask for clarification.
Anyway, what you are seeing is the Notification Center extension. Its perfectly fine to have it. Its not 3rd Party. Its Apple's own.
It comes with iTunes. It displays a Mini Player in the Today tab of Notification center.
The other extensions are similar.
thanks. sorry about the capital letters.
i went to notification center and it only shows titles with underlines on them, and no mini player?
also the extension in question is in the third party context window where it says to show all third party extensions.
AND in the third party Menu, it shows i have an extension in Mail, Messages, and Air Drop that allows the programs to share content.
it just seems i would remember putting those extensions in there if i had indeed put them there??
