My music was "Not purchased with your Apple ID".

this seems to have happened to random songs. I will decide to play a song that hasn't played for a while & my music freezes for a second. Then it skips to another song & displays the alert message saying the song was not purchased by me. So far, it has only happened to songs I did buy before I downloaded iOS 8 & started the Apple music trial.

if anyone knows how to fix this so I can get my music back, that'd be great. Thanks User uploaded file

Hey Suggestausername,

I understand that some of the music that's been on your iPhone since prior to upgrading to iOS 8 produces error messages when they try to play, then fail to do so. Given the nature of the error message, you should be able to delete the affected songs from your iPhone, then re-download them from the iTunes Store.
