Sep 12, 2015 11:33 PM in response to gail from maineby DVoz,My photos all go up to iCloud so I can see them on any device. Since the iPad Air none of the photos taken with air upload. Hope that makes sense.

Sep 13, 2015 12:03 AM in response to DVozby gail from maine,I think there is some confusion here. If you are using iCloud Photo Library, then you no longer have Photo Stream.
So, if you are running iCloud Photo Library, you should have it turned on on the iPad, and it should be signed in to the same iCloud account. What settings do you have turned on in Settings>iCloud>Photos on the iPad?

thanks for your help... I just chatted with apple help.
solution:
1) turn off iCloud library
2) select remove photos when given options
3) turn back on
for the 6000 photos I have it takes a while to sort out
