8 hour blocking of Apple ID is excessive

Something is wrong the way Apple blocks for 8 hours an apple id when you don't type correctly the password or fail to type the correct answer questions.

With Google and other companies you don't have to wait 8 hours to unlock your ID, if you are the user of that Apple ID why Apple blocks you for 8 hours?

There are a lot of ways to know if the one that is trying to access the Apple ID is the owner of that ID, for example how could a hacker use the same IP address that you were using some minutes ago before the Apple ID was blocked, why Apple don't build a system to check the latest IP address that the owner of that ID was using to help him find the correct IP?

Why Apple don't send you to all your devices that are registered with your Apple ID a code so that you can type it in the iforgot to unlock your Apple ID and keep trying to type the correct password.

Another thing could be that if you fail to type some correct answer then you could try for another answer, in my case I type correctly the date of birthday but fail to type the second answer, why they don't give you the option to try another question.

Also why a system can't send you a special code to your iphone, ipad, or mac, if you already have the password for that devices. How could a hacker find the password of all your devices to unlock them and also type correctly some questions.

Anyway 8 hours is excessive for blocking an Apple ID, with 1 hour is enough security, and if you keep failing questions then the time could go up, the same way the iphone works, every time you fail to enter the password correctly on the iphone it takes more time to unlock it, why Apple decided to place an 8 hour block of apple id.

Also because of that 8 hour blocking of my Apple ID, I can't fix the issue even calling directly to Apple.

People needs to access their email, iMessage and more without waiting 8 hours.

I hope that some one in Apple reads this and fix that failed system that only affects real users, because hackers will find other ways to find the password.

Thank you for your message but it is important that other users know that something is very wrong the way you can recover your apple id password.

After the second 8 hours of wait you have to wait 24 hours more to receive the email to change your password.

It is too much time to wait to recover your password. I hope that this help some one to understand how the apple id password recover works and also to know about how much time they have to wait to fix this issue.

In all I waited over 48 hours to fix this issue, that is a lot of time and I am sure that Apple could help users recover their passwords in less time.
