Q: Battery drain after ios 8.4.1 update

Hi,

I have an iphone 4s thats an year old now and very recently I have started facing a strange issue.

My phone automatically turns off even if 20% of battery is left behind, initially I thought this had something to do with iOS and I decided to get my phone updated to the latest release 8.4.1.

After the update things turned out to be even more creepier, now my phone turns off even when 60% of the battery is left behind.

I tried doing a reset, disabling location services, app refresh, changing mail refresh options (push to fetch) but still the issue persists.

Let me know if anybody has faced a similar issue and if a fix is available for this.

I would probably wait for ios 9 and if the issue still persists then I am planning to get myself an android phone. Its far better to get a smartphone where I can use all the apps rather than having them disabled and look at the battery indicator all the time.
