You must be rough with them I have been using the same Apple Lightning cable that came with my iPad 4 that I bought more the 32 months ago. I use same cable for my 7G iPod Nano too.

Mine lightning cable is still working so are two other chargers and cables.  Perhaps you too are having some other issue.  I an having a power drain issue that I just can not seem to get my hands on.  Turned off Wi-Fi, make notifications to Push or Manual (if possible), and yet my iPod still drains the battery in the off state.  I had to resort to forced reset when the battery runs dead after about eight hours of non-use.

    Really?

What was so rude about what Illaass stated?

Maybe the Poster IS rough with the Apple chargers!

    We don't know?

The OP only came here to complain and did not supply any info about how the chargers get used iin daily use!

Rough with storing them, using them/storing them in very hot conditions.

Maybe the OP leaves his iDevices and chargers stored in a car or other vehicle, with or without a storage bag and the iDevice and charger are getting too hot sitting in a car in hot conditions.

Maybe the OP uses these chargers in a electrical wall socket with no surge protection or using a surge protector and they are receiving electrical current spike or electrical overheating.

Illaass stated a perfectly legiimate resspone.

Especially when the Original Poster (OP) goes through 4 chargers in a few months.

The OP is doing SOMETHING wrong with the chargers.

My first iPod Pro charger died within two months, but the replacement I got has lasted me nearly nine months, so far.

And I have only had two other Apple branded chargers die on me in a 6 year period.

    Illaass wasn't rude, at all.

The OP was kinda rude and YOU were, definitely, without a doubt, RUDE with your statement and implications!

You come here into these community support forms for the first time (you only have 4 points ) to come here and make a totally uneccessary and rude statement?

    Not helpful to anyone.

Do you have Bluetooth on and running all the time?

Bluetooth signals continue to run in the background and while your iPod is still in sleep mode.

    Try turning off Bluetooth.

You can turn WiFi on and off, but iDevices stop receiving WiFi signals when the devices are asleep.

    Bluetooth, though, is another story.

Bluetooth generated signals from a device continue to transmit and recieve even when the device is in sleep mode.

Didn't think Illaass was rude at all.  Merely making a statement that perhaps the OP is having some other issues that makes he/she thinks that the chargers are at fault.  Anyway, my blue tooth is off.  Never had it on.  Some other posts seems to had my issue before (which I had originally thought was battery and it turned out not) and somehow got solved.  Just trying to figure this out from the community (if possible) before making a Genius bar appointment.

    Thanks for the suggestion MichelPM.
