Apple music free trial subscription avoids changing country of Apple ID Can't cancel free trial .
There is an option in iPhone ....Manage your subscription. Apple Music is in it. Unsubscribe it.
Go to Settings => iTunes & App Store => Touch your Apple ID => Touch View Your Apple ID => Signin your password in iTunes Store
=> Touch Manage Your Subscription => Unsubscribe Apple Music
Done.
I am kind of having the same issue as this original post was. I have managed to cancel it-but Apple has said I can keep using it until the 3 month trial is up. So mine is cancelled, but not really cancelled. I have moved from Aus to the UK & I can't change my Apple ID region until my Apple Music is cancelled-which it is, but not really. How can I cancel fully??

You need to set Automatic Renewal to Off and wait for it to expire.
Manage your Apple Music membership on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC - Apple Support
If you cannot wait for it to expire, you'll need to contact iTunes Support and have them manually cancel it.
If there is no Apple Music subscription to manage, then that means that particular Apple ID is not subscribed to Apple Music.
You have access to the service for the duration of the Free Trial. They cannot simply cut you off you from using it as it would go against every consumer law on the planet.
If you need to completely cancel it before it expires normally, then you need to contact iTunes Support again and request they cancel it and remove it completely, stating you need to change countries and it needs to be removed

Another way you can unsubscribe Apple Music free trial is as follows :
1. Touch the icon 'Music' in your iPhone
2. Touch your profile at top left corner ....a red human head inside a circle
3. You should see Apple Music to unsubscribe.
