What do I need to connect my new Ipad Air2 to my Sony Bravia smart TV. I cannot find a 'WiFi Direct' mode

The best way is to buy a Apple TV £59.00
Then you can mirror from iPhone / iPad to tv also watch YouTube full screen .

Hi Brian,
I was using the Apple TV unit with no problems until I upgraded to iOS9 on the ipad. Now my playlist won't play continuously. I am using MusicTV app. When I use just the ipad to play the music videos it all works fine but as soon as I turn on Air Play to Apple TV it just stops. Even the video does not load to the ipad.
There was an option to play in the background but that has gone in iOS9 as well. All the WiFi is OK.
Any ideas?
