Q: iMovie crashes randomly on Mac Pro

Hey all,

Just purchased brand new Mac Pro (Late 2013) with 3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5 and 16GB ram running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

installed iMovie (ver 10.0.9) on clean system and when i edit movies the system crashes randomly. (computer restarts)

Tried to disconnect all external drives, printers and so.

Tried formatting the drive and installed the system from the start.

Nothing helps, iMovie keeps on crashing the system.

Anyone knows why...?
