Q: Songs added while on iPhone not showing on Mac?

I've been using Apple Music since the day it launched and I'm pretty sure at one point the music was the same on both my iPhone 6+ and my Macbook. I don't often use iTunes on my Mac but a few minutes ago I just realized that many of the songs that I added to My Music from my iPhone are no longer showing up on my Macbook. I have around 2000 songs and at least half of them were added while on my phone but cannot be found on the Mac (songs added from the Mac to the phone work perfectly though).

I've not changed any of the settings on either device but a few days ago I logged out of my iTunes account on the Mac in order to fix an issue with an older account that is no longer used. I am currently logged into the same account on both devices but I can't manage to get the songs from my phone onto the Mac. I've tried googling this issue but it seems like iTunes Match always pops up and I was never subscribed to that. So aside from iTunes Match, is there another way I can get all the songs to show up on both devices?
