original apple TV crash

Hello, i have an original apple TV (big silver thing) and the OS keeps crashing after approx 5 mins of use, then the ATV resets itself and goes into recovery options

I have tried a full restore and still crashes

i installed XBMC and it worked perfectly (looks like an issue with the apple OS)

is there a full OS i can download and install or can apple do this for me if i was to take it into a store?
