I want to project from my Iphone or Ipad

What is the best way to project a movie from my iphone 6 or Ipad air?? I am in the market to purchase a projector, but want to make the right decision!

Please help guide me with what I'll need 🙂

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.4.1

Depends on what kind of connection the projector uses, i.e. VGA, HDMI...

I'm in the process of shopping for the projector now... I would most likely want the HDMI connection, but have seen bad reviews for the video connection using a lightning to HDMI cord.
