Sharing garageband song to itunes, but gets stuck on converting. Please help.

I've been using Garageband for years and this is the first time I have had issues where it freezes on converting when sharing the new song to itunes. I updated all my software, but refuse to get the new gargaband due to reviews and it looks different. I just want to continue editing music on garageband and being able to share the new songs on itunes like before with no issues.

I decided to use the "Export Song to Disk" under Share and go about it that way and the song completely converted. However, I had to go dig it out of my music files and album that I had chosen to export it to and then drop it into the iTunes library. I'm just happy I found a way. Before it was as simple as clicking on "send song to iTunes" under Share, but for some reason it ends up stuck on converting.

I had the same problem and at first dropping the mp3's to Itunes after exporting to disk worked but, after doing the same process with a few tracks it simply did not accept any mp3's. I am really frustrated.
