Q: Copying playlists from iTunes 12.2.2.25 to iPhone/iPad

I am using iTunes 12.2.2.25 and when I synced my iPhone and iPad, it deleted all the playlists from both devices. How can I copy the playlists from my computer to my devices as syncing the devices is not restoring the playlists?
