Q: No store in Minneapolis has any genius who can work on Apple watch...

Apple watch says there is a software update. Yet it won't load...

And when we change time zones, the watch does not update itself...and there seems no way to reset the time...

WatchOS 2 is not expected to be released until tomorrow.

It in not clear what your question is, or if you have one. Did you contact AppleCare, and if so, what was their response?

    Hi Pete

To help prompt your watch to update after changing time zones, restart it: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

To check whether there is a software update available for your watch, on your iPhone in the Apple Watch app to go: My Watch > General > Software Update.
