IBook g4 won't load passed gray screen shows the symbol for loading but never boots the system up. How to reset the PRAM. I've tried the usual command prompt given online. And same gray loading screen appears.

I read somewhere to take the battery out after shutdown and after putting the battery back in the i book g4 will not turn on at all now.. any thoughts?
