Q: Update 10.2 bug

I did the update (I can see it in the App Store) but my version of Logic is still 10.1.

How can I fix this ??

    Its not a bug....

    it typically means..

    1) Check you are running the app that is inside your Applications folder... and not any shortcut to it... by launching it directly from within that folder and not, say, from an icon in your Dock.

    2) You have renamed your LPX app (Rename it back to Logic Pro X and restart your Mac and do the update again)

    3) You have moved the App from out of the Applications folder (Move it back and restart your Mac and do the update again..)

    4) You have a permissions issue with your System Drive (Repair permissions and then do the update again..)

    5) You have multiple copies of the LPX app on your computer somewhere.... and it's a copy that got updated...

Failing all of those.. simply delete the LPX app from out of your Applications folder, empty trash..... and restart your Mac

Now go to the Purchase tab in the Mac App Store and re-download and install the main LPX app.... This will download and install the latest version.,.

    Thanks.

I just put LPX in the trash, emptied it, downloaded it again and it worked !

All my shortcuts, audio units et.c... remained the same.
