No Data Received error on Chrome!? Help! :'(

So about a week or so ago, I started getting the no data recieved, err_empty_response - unable to load the webpage because the served sent no data on a BUNCH of sites. Youtube is the main offender, as I have not been able to access it at all, while others come and go. It is super frustrating and effecting my work.
Im running the latest version of OSX on my 2011 Macbook pro.

Things I've tried:

- Uninstalled/reinstalled chrome

- Reset laptop etc

- Cleared cache

- Tried running incognito mode

- Tried other browsers (same issue)

- Reset router/modem

- Disabled VPN

- Checked proxy settings

- Reset DNS

- Made sure everything is up to date

Please please please if anyone has a suggestion of what I can do to fix it I would be very appreciative. I can't google much because most webpages and all youtube videos dont load. IT EVEN STOPPED NETFLIX WORKING 😢

SoS,

Adam

Start up in Recovery mode. In the OS X Utilities screen, select Get Help Online. A clean copy of Safari will launch. No plugins, such as Flash, will be available. While in Recovery, you'll have no access to your saved bookmarks or passwords, so make a note of those before you begin, if they're needed for the test.

Test. After testing, restart as usual and post the results.
