Should I register MAC OS X Snow Leopard?

I have just buy MAC OS X Snow Leopard, after that at Geniusbar they install it to me. Should I register it, in order to state that it is original?

And keep in mind that Snow Leopard is no longer officially supported. All the same it is an excellent system and for basic work it will serve you well.
