Q: My memory says I have two flash drives plugged in but I don't.

When I tried to put my flash drive in to the computer, it is not showing up anywhere.  When I looked at my About this Mac, it said that I had two memory slots, both of which are currently in use.  (They are not currently in use.)  Does anyone know how to fix this??  Does this mean something serious is wrong with my computer?

Just what did yo connect and where?

It sounds like you plugged in a USB flash drive. About this Mac will show the memory in the Mac. The MacBook Pros have two memory slots.

With a USB drives connected open Disk Utility? Do they show there?

What is format? They will only show in Finder if the format is compatible with a Mac

Do they show in System Profiler under USB?
