Q: Why isn't there a sensefull adapter, to connect to Apple Cinema Display?

Hi,

I'm changing from MacBookPro 15" (2012) to MacBook.

I'm used to utilize my Cinema Display, when working in Office.

I'd like to take advantage of the weight of Apples shiny 12" MacBook, but didn't want to loose the ability to use my existing Cinema Deisplay.

Are there fitting adapters? I didn't found them.

Will there be an update to have an USB-C Cinema Display?

There is no speculation on this board. This is just a user to user forum.
Now there were several "Cinema Display" models:

Which one are you trying to connect to? Maybe an adapter already exists if it is the right model we are talking about.
