Q: There is no option to sync music to my phone

I understand that you are wanting to sync your iPhone with iTunes to get some music synced over. That is something that I can help you out with.
From what you describe it sounds like you are using Apple Music or at least using iCloud Music Library. When you have this enabled, it will show everything in your iTunes library that is music and show it on your iPhone. If that is not the way you want it to be, then make sure that iCloud Music Library is turned off in Settings > Music​. For more details take a look at the article below.
