Q: iTunes

My wife and I have the same iTunes account, but we have different iTunes libraries on our Mac. It used to be that her iTunes accessed her library, and mine accessed mine, but now they are both accessing both libraries. This is a recent change. How can we get back to the point where she only sees her music and I only see mine? Additionally, all of the music is synching with both of our iPhones, so we're both loaded up with each others music now.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you sign up for the Apple Music service?

Unfortunately there is a lot of very specific terminology in using iTunes.  iTunes can only get access to a single library at a time so I am not sure what you mean by it is accessing both libraries at the same time.  iTunes is the application, by the way, not an account or the music.  You are sharing an iTunes Store account/AppleID?  It sounds like form what you are saying that her media is now showing in your library?  Did you enable automatic downloads?

No, neither of us signed up for Apple Music. Now that I think of it, it might only be an issue with items purchased through the iTunes store. For example, I just purchased an album a few weeks ago, and it's now showing up in my wife's library. This never used to happen before.
