Logic Pro X - Third party Loops

Why are only some of my third party loops indexing into Loops Library in Logic Pro X 10? They are all .wav files however only 21 out of the 200+ are showing up in my loops library.

I am entering a production competition where I downloaded 4 folders of pre set loops and samples to be used in the contest. I dragged the files into my 'Apple Loops for Garage Band' Folder. Once I reindexed the loops on Logic only a few show up in that folder. Anyone know why this s or how to fix this?

Everything on my MacBook is up to date! OS X Yosemite and all!

Hello! I've got a similar problem since I've updated to Sierra and to Logic 10.3.1.

Once before updating , I had tons of Third Party loops, all recognized by Logic simply by dragging them into it.

Now, I'm having problems : I drag them into logic but Logic does not ask me 'leave in current position....?' anymore. It does not ask me anything. Then, after dragging them, it does not show them in the loops index!!!

I thought I didn't really drag them into the app, and tried and dragged them again. Unfortunately, I still couldn't see them, so I tried and write, on apple loops search in Logic, the name of one of them, and this is incredible : I found all of them!! (EX: a folder of loops called 'cips' is NOT shown inside the apple index but if I search for a single loop name of that folder, Logic found it!!!!!!)

After this, I read some forums around the net, and put one folder into Apple Loops folder. The first time everything went well, and finally Logic showed me that folder. I Began doing it with other folders, but unfortunately, Logic does not show them. I tried and change format of files, changing waves into caf or aiff....nothing.

Please, help me, I don't know how to solve...

Thank you vey much

There are loops... and then there are Apple Loops...

Not all Loops are Apple Loops with all the needed metadata included in them....

For non Apple loops simply drag them from a folder on your HD directly into the Arrange Eindow to use them...

Note: Non Apple Loops may not fit with the current tempo as again, they don't contain the required metadata in them for Logic to process... so set the BPM accordingly first to match the tempo of the loops... or learn to use Flex....

Also.. to add Apple loops to the Apple Loop Browser you should just drag the folder onto the Apple Loop Browser window in Logic Pro X and then it will be automatically added to the correct folder oj your hard drive.

Adding them manually to a Garageband folder.. is not a wise thing to do.... and I have no idea why you would do so....

Anyhow...

To convert non Apple Loops to Apple loops...
