I hope someone can help or this phone and i mac is getting thrown out and i am going back to the good old cd's!
First off my iPhone was getting full so i started to delete apps, photos and ended up at my music which takes up the majority of my memory.
I connected my phone via usb then clicked on music and wanted to select artists i wanted to sync with iPhone, getting rid of artists i didn't want, but knowing they would be in my library if i ever wanted it on my phone again, easy? no. They just won't disappear off my phone!
I then start tinkering on my iPhone to find many songs have a strange icon of a phone next to them and that a few albums have split into two. Why are compilations not found under albums?
Back to my iTunes screen on my iMac under sync music page at the bottom there is a section of manually add songs which holds a random selection of songs
i also chose not to include music videos but they still appeared on my phone!
If i then go to "on my device" i see all my songs in alphabetical order, what a mess, some have ! some have circles next to them, some are fray and lots are duplicate
HELP please
