Q: My iPhone6 keeps giving notifications of a failure to send a text message

I haven't been sending any text messages to day, however have received a message that my text to XXX has failed to send?

    Hello there dudchanoo,

     

    It sounds like you have messages that are having trouble actually sending. I would suggest taking a look at the info in the following article:

     

    If you try to send a message and you see  Exclamation mark icon with an alert saying Not Delivered, follow these steps. After each step, see if you still need help:

    1. Tap  Exclamation mark icon and try to send your message again.
    2. Make sure that you’re connected to the Internet through cellular data or Wi-Fi.
    3. Go to Settings > Messages. Check that the type of message that you're trying to send is turned on (iMessage, SMS, MMS, or Group messaging):
