Started downloading Ios9, but in middle error in downloading issue message appears.

You and millions of other people are trying to download the same file. Just wait and download it later on when the servers aren't full.

Not a very helpful error. Watch also not showing updates. Trying to update ipad air 2 with 30gb spare. Iphone 6 with 3gb spare and apple watch.
6pm UK time passed yet failed updates 😟
Strangely, this is not a "limited time offer" ...... The software will be available tomorrow, and the next day, and next week.
I'm not however sure I can last another minute running 8.4.1.. I might not make it to tomorrow...

every one wants the new IOS at the earliest, its al passion ..:)
Now the better way is to connect to itunes and update ..:-)

I don't know if the iOS 9 update is live yet. It's only 10:30 in Cupertino, so I'd guess not. I'd check Software Updates again in about two hours, or when you get a system prompt to update, whichever comes first. Also, the Software Updates servers are pretty packed the day of a new update, so when it does become available, keep trying to get it to connect. Also, you could try to connect your device to iTunes and try to update from there.
