I have macs that are bound to Active Directory and when the user changes their password. They will now have two login screens. One is the file vault screen that uses that old password and then the next is the Mac login screen that uses the new AD password. No matter how many times you change the AD password the file vault password stays the first password with out changing.
Does anyone have a fix for this.
I have tried El Capitain as well and same issue.
I don't know whether it works with AD, but you can try running this shell command:
sudo fdesetup sync
Tried that no luck.
Then you would have to manually remove and re-add the FileVault user in fdesetup.
This is still working for 10.10.3 Machines and looks like 10.10.4+ broke this feature. Any ideas?

I still don't know what you mean by "it," but regardless, if you think you've found a bug, you should register for a free developer account and report it to Apple. I don't have any experience with AD, so I can't confirm.
