Q: Delete iPhone synced photos

Hi, can someone please give me a step-by-step guide on how to delete some of the synced photos on the phone. There is a guideline available on how to delete all the synced photos but I could not find anything about deleting selected photos only.

I could really use your help. Thanks.

To delete only selected synced photos you need to sync again but in iTunes select only the photos you want to retain on the phone. Note that the photos must still be on the computer you are syncing from. Each time you sync, iTunes sets the synced photos on the phone to match the current selection/settings in iTunes. There is more info on syncing at Sync photos from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes - Apple Support

The instructions below are copied from that link:

1 In iTunes, locate and click on your device.

    2 Click Photos.

3 Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.

4 To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."

    Click Apply.
