I took it to the technician and said it can't be repaired, it won't boot, the apple logo appears for like 2 seconds and the screen goes black again, sometimes i feel the screen is on but it shows black. i tried to restore it via iTunes i got the following errors. the update download couldn't be completed. so its stuck on recovery mode in iTunes

We looked up some YouTube videos that may be helpful for you (we just googled it) but for me those didn't work. I ended taking it into an iPhone repair store and they were able to fix it without deleting everything. It cost $40 but that's much cheaper than a new phone.

Have you gotten it resolved yet? I'm having the same problem as you, they were going to replace my phone because it was a problem with the Software but had no insurance/warranty and I needed to pay $299 to get it replaced.
just got error 53 after 9.2 update for absolutely no reason, everything was working fine, never has been repaired or even tampered... it's so annoying
