How to set up Hotmail E-mail account on my iPhone so it does not delete my e-mails off the Hotmail server?

Q: How do I stop E-mails from being deleted from the hotmail server
Set it up as POP, this will remove the ability to keep emails in sync between the phone and the Mac though.
