Oct 23, 2015 10:18 AM in response to Gauravtjby bellaand66,Join the club...i also tried everything, sadly my wife's iphone 5 camera is dead. The annoing part is that her phone is only one month old, switched by warranty at local dealer..So,in this case,a hardware issue is hard to believe.i currently use ios 9.0.1 on my iphone 6 and i am really afraid of updating..I'm in for a collective complaint,we just have to figure out how to do it.

Oct 23, 2015 11:19 AM in response to bellaand66by Tim1094,Totally agree on the collective complaint.
Does Apple run a Facebook or Twitter account? I'm sure they must ( but I don't use either!). If they do, we should get the people who have the problem to write about it on both sites,
I've seen nothing about this issue in any of the usual Apple RSS-type newsletters. Has anyone else? We do need to get some discussion of this problem going beyond these pages - do Apple read them?

Oct 23, 2015 11:30 AM in response to Tim1094by Zuhl3156,I have always had success using the Better Business Bureau and have won awards from some of the giants like Dell, Verizon and even AT&T but since most of our devices are out of warranty I fear that our complaints would fall on deaf ears.

Oct 23, 2015 12:14 PM in response to Pointebasicby weigandtstudios,Why isnt the press writing about it? Maybe somebody needs to tell them that there is something like this going on to increase the pressure on Apple, so they would finally do something, My wife has an iPhone 6 and i will not update it to ios 9 unless this problems is solved, its out of warranty. I also was thinking and of updating it but recording it on video to make sure how the camera works before and doesn't after.

Oct 23, 2015 12:31 PM in response to weigandtstudiosby Zuhl3156,I fear that the only resolution would be a class action lawsuit. Lawyers are notorious for seeing only dollar signs and not caring about justice. Unless a lawyer somewhere sees a huge profit for himself or a chance to make a big name for himself we're all probably up that proverbial creek and the only one with paddles for sale is Apple. Apple does indeed have a Facebook page and I posted about the camera problems but I doubt I will get any kind of response from them. A consumer advocate from a local TV news station could wield a lot of clout if someone could rouse their interest. Sadly the only one we have in Philadelphia is a man named Jim Donovan and I know from experience that he is absolutely worthless when the chips are down. Maybe a large viewing audience in a location like Los Angeles could give us a boost?

Oct 23, 2015 12:37 PM in response to Zuhl3156by Tim1094,Apple sells paddles? The iPaddle that'll be then, right?
Do you have the URL for the Apple FB page? If you could post that - everyone needs to jump in and post details of the problem. The more the merrier. What about Twitter? Companies seem to respond to Tweets. Although God knows why.
Lawyers on this? Hmmmmm.....
As wegandstudios says in his post - a couple above this one - why has the media not picked up on this? Is it such a small problem? Almost 14000 views of this page. Either there are a lot of people affected - or a couple of us really need to find more to do with life. But i have seen nothing about it in the press. We need to change that.
Anyone got a connection with one of the technical newsletters that concentrate on Apple?

Oct 23, 2015 12:48 PM in response to Pointebasicby MonckeyBusiness,Yep...I missed the cutoff point for replacing my dodgy mid-2010 macbook pro (graphics card nightmare) its then I started realising the above. Since then I notice more and more...they ignore anyone who doesn't have latest version of their products. More and more disappointment. PS Same issue as the rest of you all.

Oct 23, 2015 1:01 PM in response to Tim1094by Zuhl3156,Sadly most of my influence falls into the realm of PC performance and gaming. Apple's Facebook page is hard to find unless you search for 'Apple Inc'.

Oct 23, 2015 2:23 PM in response to Tim1094by bellaand66,I think i can,but what for? It's crystal clear that there can't be upset customers, just happy ones! They quickly erased the comment, along with some other user complaint about podcasts or something like that.I'll try to post also on the Apple INc page, maybe we'll be more users there to draw attention on this matter.

Oct 23, 2015 2:39 PM in response to Zuhl3156by bellaand66,I just posted on Apple Inc,as a comment on an Ios 9 photo,i think is the one you were reffering to.Maybe if there are more comments, they'll do something about it!The previous post of mine, which was erased,it was on another fb page, not on the one that you wrote on.

Oct 23, 2015 2:57 PM in response to bellaand66by Zuhl3156,My post is at the top as George S. I think I just gave you a 'Like' along with some other posts. We should start a pool to see how long it takes them to delete our posts. The winner gets a broken iPhone 5! LOL
