Sep 16, 2015 2:52 PM in response to cIRRUS690by stevejobsfan0123,Try force restarting:
Hold both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears.
If that doesn't work, you will need to do a restore: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414.

Sep 16, 2015 3:27 PM in response to cIRRUS690by Go Pack Go!,Same issue here with iPad Mini 2 with Cellular. Updates to a point, but then get Slide to Upgrade message with white screen and can go no further. Tried hard reset with no luck. Can't do restore from iTunes, because can't get in to turn off Find My iPhone. Had no problems updating other iPhones and iPads today.

You should be able to bypass that by restoring in Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808. When the restore is done, you will still be required to sign into iCloud (Find my iPhone) before you can use the iPad.

I'm having the same problem and I tried what you've suggested but I can't even turn off the Ipad.. Holding down the lock key doesn't turno off the Ipad, just turns off the screen.
Any other suggestions?

Sep 16, 2015 4:05 PM in response to udarensamoletby stevejobsfan0123,Hold the home and power buttons at the same time. When you see the Apple boot logo, release the power button but continue hold the home button until you see an iTunes prompt.
