Do Lutron Caseta lightswitches require the Caseta Hub or just Homekit? I presume they need a hub because a lot of these are not sophisticated enough to login to Wifi. Like you couldn't login to WiFi with your light switch. The Hub thing is confusing with different versions and standards. For example if a hub is required and I get a Caseta hub, if I get Insteon products do I also need an Insteon Hub? Seems to still be a fractured system. Is there a Universal hub that handles all of these different standards? Would like to understand the architecture before I invest any more money. Nest already burned me.
